OBJETIVOS: El International Video Art House Madrid tiene como objetivo la difusión, promoción de los videoartistas y la internacionalización de sus trabajos.
CONDICIONES DE PARTICIPACIÓN: Las obras han de haber sido realizadas con posterioridad al 01 de Enero de 2018. No hay límite en la duración de las obras ni temática concreta.
VERSIONES: Todas las obras que no sean Version Original en Español o Inglés han de incluir subtitulos en alguno de estos idiomas.
INSCRIPCIÓN Y DOCUMENTACIÓN: Los formularios de inscripción han de ser completados a través de la página web de IVAHM y envío por correo postal o link de previsualización en Vimeo con contraseña. No hay tasas de inscripción. El plazo finaliza el 01 de Marzo de 2018.
PROGRAMACIÓN Y DERECHOS DE EXHIBICIÓN: La organización se reserva el derecho de exhibir las obras seleccionadas en cuantas sesiones públicas estime conveniente siendo comunicado al autor/productor con antelación. A este respecto, las productoras cederán los derechos para la exhibición pública de sus obras sin coste alguno para la organización. El Festival IVAHM realiza cada año una muestra itinerante IVAHM OnTour que cada año visita otros festivales. La realización de estas muestras serán siempre comunicadas con anterioridad al artista/productor.
CATÁLOGO Y MATERIAL DE PROMOCIÓN: Las productoras o directores de las obras seleccionadas facilitarán el material necesario para la elaboración del Catálogo y Programación de la Muestra. Las productoras y los directores participantes de la muestra autorizan, al presentar su formulario de inscripción, la utilización de uno o varios fragmentos de su película para su difusión como material informativo en cualquier medio de comunicación. A estos efectos, las productoras o directores pondrán a disposición de la muestra una selección de secuencias con una duración máxima de tres minutos o un 20% del tiempo total de duracción para piezas de menos de 10 minutos. Desde la organización se contactará con las respectivas productoras a través de la persona de contacto especificada en el formulario de inscripción a fin de especificarles los materiales que deben enviar.
DISPOSICIONES ADICIONALES: Una vez efectuada la selección de una obra por la organización para cualquiera de las Secciones, no podrá ser retirada. IVAHM podrá realizar copias en vídeo y DVD de las obras seleccionadas, que pasarán a formar parte de su fondo videográfico destinado a la difusión audiovisual. El festival incluirá todos los trabajos seleccionados en el archivo de video CIDV (www.cidv.org) como programa IVAHM 2019. En cualquier caso, IVAHM comunicará a los artistas/productores el uso, que se haga de estas copias. La presentación a selección a traves del formulario de inscripción de una obra supone la plena aceptación de las presentes Bases de Participación. La interpretación de las mismas será competencia exclusiva de la Dirección de IVAHM.

OBJECTIVES: The International Video Art House Madrid is an initiative to support contemporary video artists and promote their work internationally.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: We are only selecting works made after 1th January of 2018. There is no time limit for the submissions and the competition has no specific theme.
VERSIONS: All works in languages other than English or Spanish must include subtitles in any of these languages.
SUBMISSIONS: Submission forms must be completed through our website, you will find the link to the submission form on the IVAHM 2019 website. Please attach a link of the works on Vimeo you wish to submit (please add the password if needed). You can send a copy in DVD if you prefer. There is no submission fee. Deadline is on the 01 of March 2019.
PROGRAMME AND EXHIBITION RIGHTS: The organisation reserves the right to show the selected works in as many public screening as considered necessary by the organisation, with previous notification to the artist. Producers will authorise the public screenings freely. The IVAHM Festival carries out a nomadic tour every year with visits other art festivals. Screenings at these art centres will always be previously notified to the artist.
CATALOGUE AND PUBLICITY FOR THE FESTIVAL: The producers and/or directors of the works will provide the material necessary for the preparation of the Festival’s catalogue and the publicity for the festival. Producers and participants, by submitting their works, are authorising the use of one or several fragments of their films to show as publicity of the Festival in the media. For this purpose, producers and/or directors will provide the Festival with a selection of fragments that will last no longer than three minutes or 20% of the total for pieces shorter than 10 minutes. The organisation will give further details of the material needed to producers, by getting in touch with the person responsible for the works. When filling in the submission forms, please specify the contact details of the person responsible for the works.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Once the works have been selected for any of the Festival’s sections, these will not be withdrawn. IVAHM may make copies in video and DVD of the works shown, which will be incorporated to the centre’s video archive destined to the promotion of audiovisual work. The organisation will also include all the selected works in the CIDV online video archive (www.cidv.org) as part of the IVAHM 2019 programme. In any case, IVAHM will previously notify any use of the works to artists and producers. By submitting your works via the submissions form, you fully agree to the terms and conditions listed above. The directors of the organisation reserve the right to interpret these terms and conditions.
