370 New World – Marcantonio Lunardi
370 New World – Marcantonio Lunardi
Synopsis
370 New World is a work on the new solitude created by the economic and social crisis which crossed the whole Europe in the last ten years. The human isolation which is displayed to the spectator is, by now, part of the everyday life of many people.. Despite the video focuses on the new media, Lunardi does not want to make any accusation. The work, in fact, is placed beyond the commonplace debate which stigmatizes technology and the social networks. The author simply tries to put in evidence the different solitudes which surround the various characters who live in his work. The first solitude is imposed by an external circumstance, that is the economic crisis.
The work closes on a man who stubbornly seeds the asphalt. That peasant, with that peculiar gesture, strongly asserts his will to get back a certain concreteness, in the name of his link with the mother earth. The act of seeding becomes thus a fight against the asphalt which covers the square dominated by the monolith of an abandoned mill. We do not know wether the peasant will win that unequal fight. But we do know that his battle is the only ethic choice possible.

Blackpainter – Elena Tagliapietra
Blackpainter – Elena Tagliapietra
Synopsis
The infinite profiling of a fascinating image aims to achieve self-realization in society. But not always this promise turns into reality. The oppression of the extreme aesthetics on the ego can lead to the obscure involution of ourselves.
A jungle of confusion and excesses in which the soul is lost.
Bio

Bio
Visual artist. Born in Naples, Italy, on September 12 1976. Diploma in Stage Design, Academy of Fine Arts, Naples.
I took my first steps within maestro Nicola Furiati’s Corelli Company (Puppet Theatre).
Soon after I had joined the Maestro passed away and Vincenzo and Giovanni Furiati kept his legacy alive and became huge influences on my training. The distinctive lights, faces and shapes of that world were going to be forever part of my visual scenery.
From 1999 to 2007 I worked freelance as camera operator for regional broadcasters, and as a photographer for Fotoaminta studio between Sorrento and Positano, Amalfi Coast resorts.
My work appeared on national press such as Il Mattino, La Repubblica and Metropolis.
I got in touch with the Neapolitan performers M.P.A.F. and Eu.Ca Video with whom I took part to projects like ìP@areteî at the Galleria Principe di Napoli in the Gemito Hall, the Sarajevo Biennial, ìArte Fiera di Sardegnaî and ìArcheo Doc Festivalî in Ercolano, Naples.
I am currently conducting my visual research together with my wife Rosangela Martino, looking at the poeticity and truthfulness of the biblical Scriptures, the historical characters of its tales and the photographic picture as pure and raw embodiment of time.
We are members of the association T.I.L.T. Teatro di Imola – Bologna.

In the Cave (of technology) – Alessandro Amaducci
In the Cave (of technology) – Alessandro Amaducci
Synopsis
Do computers dream? They do. We live in a cave full of technology, and we are surrounded by the shadows of the worlds we create, but now also technology is able to create worlds, to offer points of view of the world, and to change the look of the world. We want to be watched by the technology, we want to watch inside the technology. So what happens when our imagery and our system of images collide with the technology’s imagery? An overflow of “models” and archetypes, but also something new: the union of dream and science, of natural and artificial, of past and future tenses.

Meandro Rosso – Paolo Bandinu
Synopsis
This video pays tribute through a pictorial interpretation to the visionary insights of three great directors (D. Lynch, F. Fellini, D. Risi)
On the basis of a non-narrative film language, the work aims to highlight the tortuous and intricate wander through the maze of mind.
Bio
Paolo Bandinu was born in San Gavino (CA) on 16 08 1984. He began his studies at the Art College of Cagliari in 2003-04, he graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sassari and in 2011 obtained the degree in Visual Arts and Multimedia Languages ??at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence. He lives and works in Berlin.
My work moves through the pictorial stories that take shape on the canvas and evolve by means of a video montage where the constant evolution of painting tells every single gesture and sign, painting becomes music and sublimate the motion of the matter. A succession of feelings and moods evolve into a situation that immortalize every change and indecision in the balance between what happened and what would or will happen.

Reverse metamorphosis – Eleonora Manca
Reverse metamorphosis – Eleonora Manca
Synopsis
The suggestion given by the jellyfish Turritopsis Dohrnii, potentially immortal (it is reported to have a “reverse metamorphosis”, as it is able to revert to the stage of sea anemone, reliving backwards each stage of its metamorphosis, to develop again into jellyfish) was here chosen in order to highlight the life cycle of every being. At the same time, it supports a sort of “yearning” for what we were about to meet in our “journey”. Thus, a path of metamorphosis, into the heart of the energy of what we were going to “become”.
Bio
Eleonora Manca (Lucca, 1978). Video artist, videoperformer, photographer. Each of her work is related to the themes of metamorphosis and of memory of the body. Lives and works in Turin (Italy).

SpreadYourSelf – Luca Acito
SpreadYourSelf – Luca Acito
Synopsis
SpreadYourSelf – SYS – is a universal data visualizer based on the Arduino YUN microcontroller. It works in real time with online data and controls the visual interface. SYS is accurate and precise and is a useful tool for presenting complex data in a simple, understandable and clear way.
Introduction
I was in NYC testing SYS (SpreadYourSelf) when I met the artist L‰dy Millard at ConArtist collective. Following a successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter L‰dy was getting ready to launch Under1roof; an art show to benefit the renovation of a Bronx brownstone into shared artist live/work spaces.
Talking about finance and the big penis L‰dy told me about her personal experience with the Occupy Wall Street Movement. Her mood was very sad and I was moved by her story so I looked for some data on the movement and found The digital evolution of occupy wall street: an investigation charting the ìchanges in Occupyís participant engagementî, based on twitter traffic. I contacted one of the authors asking to use their pure data with SYS. Twelve hours later he replied ìCanít wait to see the results!î
My Italian team and I set out to work on the data and I asked L‰dy to let me do my measurements while filming her watching the SYS/OWS performance.L‰dy saw a correlation between the data and her own involvement and she shared some of these moments with me, in that moment I discovered how Under1Roof was born and what it means to ìpush the energy in the right directionî.

Unter oben – Francesca Amati
Unter oben – Francesca Amati
Synopsis
Austria, Untersberg. Silence in the ascendant. The breath is lost and it falls into the black.
Bio
Born in Pesaro in 1977, she graduated in 2002 at the Academy of Fine Arts of Urbino in the Painting course.
From 2004 to 2005 she attended the course in film directing at the New University of Cinema and Television in Rome.
The works of Francesca Amati lead us into another dimension, in a poetic reality which refers to the myth and dream. ?The video narration develops with the use of a linguistic register very symbolic, which includes the use of metaphor to describe mysterious figures and animated objects, places and archetypal temporal distortions, magical elements and natural forces. ?Creates a special dialogue between these elements of the story, which suggests stupor, loss or revelation.

Vuoto lucente – Carlo Pucci
Vuoto lucente – Carlo Pucci
Synopsis
A light that propagates from spatial forms and changing to become shiny sphere; a light that changes position following a path traced in a vacuum and that it is attracted by those who would hold her, but that escapes elusive: this is the action depicted in this video by symbolic elements thesis to suggest evocative meanings.
Bio
The artistic interest of Carlo Pucci results in an activity carried out by himself, in the total absence of specific artistic studies, which since 2004 led him to devote himself primarily to the realization of video-animations, where to combine dynamic images with film sequences, often merged with graphics and pictorial.
The leitmotif of their expression can be summed up in the media representation of a reality filtered within enclosed spaces, sealed by a constant processing introspective: line between a territory claustrophobic / pressurized and explosive dimension that flows.
