“Shifting Realities: Migration to the Unknown” (Realidades mutables: Migración hacia lo desconocido) les extiende una invitación a los espectadores a adentrarse en lo desconocido, con formas que se mueven y mutan constantemente para generar nuevas percepciones y experiencias, movimientos en que se exploran nuevas posibilidades y se vivencian nuevas sensaciones. En este sentido, su obra se percibe como una suerte de migración, en que el artista profundiza en los territorios desconocidos y explora nuevas formas de expresión.
Asimismo, explora la interacción de los cuatro elementos de la naturaleza y su transformación frente al cambio climático. Su obra hace uso de las formas abstractas, los colores y las líneas para trasmitir símiles de movimiento y de cambios, dado que los elementos mutan y se transforman en respuesta al cambio climático.
El cambio climático es una problemática global que afecta tanto a nuestro planeta como nuestras vidas en diversos aspectos. Es un fenómeno que cambia el entramado mismo de nuestra existencia, del aire que respiramos al agua que bebemos, de la comida que consumimos a los paisajes que habitamos.
La evidencia sobre la relación entre el cambio climático y la migración en nuestro planeta está creciendo. La movilidad actúa como una estrategia de resiliencia esencial para la sobrevivencia del ser humano, y como una forma de crear nuevas oportunidades financieras en tiempos de crisis y estabilidad. Siempre con sus formas abstractas, Hubert examina las percepciones de los espectadores sobre las conexiones entre nuestra Tierra, el cambio climático y la migración, y las formas en que los migrantes sobrellevan y se adaptan a los efectos adversos del cambio climático, las vulnerabilidades, las barreras y las necesidades a las que conduce la migración como estrategia de adaptación.
En este contexto, la noción de realidades mutables y la migración a lo desconocido adquiere una nueva dimensión, ya que nos obliga a enfrentar la realidad del mundo cambiante y adaptarnos a condiciones inciertas. Los cuatro elementos –el aire, el agua, la tierra y el fuego– se encuentran al núcleo de esta transformación, ya que son la base fundamental de nuestro medioambiente y las fuentes de vida en nuestro planeta.
La obra invita a los espectadores a reflexionar sobre el impacto del cambio climático en nuestro mundo y nuestras vidas, y considerar nuestro rol en forjar el futuro de nuestro planeta. Es un llamado a un entendimiento más profundo de la interconexión de todo lo existente y la necesidad de hacer un esfuerzo colectivo para proteger y preservar nuestro medioambiente.
Por ende, la exhibición no solo se compone de pinturas, sino que actual como un llamado a la acción para recordarnos nuestra responsabilidad de cuidar de nuestro planeta y sus habitantes.

Walter Erra Hubert’s paintings invite us on a journey of discovery, where the world of the senses and the imagination merge. In his works, color, texture, and shapes intermingle, creating a dynamic interplay that engages the eye and the mind. Hubert’s approach is deeply intuitive, guided by a sense of curiosity and a desire to explore the unknown by connecting his heart with the Earth’s heartbeat.
At the same time, Hubert’s paintings have a contemplative quality, inviting us to slow down and take a closer look. The shapes and colors in his compositions have a sense of balance and harmony, suggesting a deep connection to the natural world.
“Shifting Realities: Migration to the Unknown” invites viewers to a journey into the unknown, where shapes constantly move and change to give rise to new perceptions and experiences, a movement in which new possibilities are explored and new sensations are experienced. In this sense, his work can be perceived as a form of migration, in which the artist moves towards unknown territories and explores new forms of expression.
In the artwork, the artist explores the interplay between the four elements and their transformation in the face of climate change. The artwork uses abstract shapes, colors, and lines to convey a sense of movement and change, as the elements shift and transform in response to a changing climate.

In an abstract form, Hubertt is examining people’s perceptions of the connections between our planet Earth, climate change and migration, the ways in which people cope with or adapt to the adverse consequences of climate change, and the vulnerabilities, barriers, and needs experienced by those who use migration as an adaptation strategy.
In this context, the concept of shifting realities and migration to the unknown takes on a new dimension, as we are forced to confront the reality of a changing world and adapt to new and unknown conditions. The four elements –air, water, earth, and fire– are at the core of this transformation, as they are the building blocks of our environment and the sources of life on our planet.
The artwork invites the viewer to reflect on the impact of climate change on our world and our lives, and to consider our role in shaping the future of our planet. It calls for a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of all things and the need for a collective effort to protect and preserve our environment.
In this sense, the exhibition is not only merely of paintings, but also acts as a call to action and a reminder of our responsibility to care for our planet and its inhabitants.
